To advance Collective Black Business Success, our nonprofit organization; IBSA, has reduced the listing fee for the Ujamaa Club Online Black Business Directory to $75.00 per year…
Our goal is to host one of the largest online Black Business Directory’s and to reach this goal we look to partner with those willing to help us expand our outreach.
Paying to list a business or nonprofit in the directory primarily allows us to compensate youth we work with, by teaching them WordPress to add a business; and for interviewing business owners to recruit their business. It’s what our Streets University (#StreetsU) program is all about…
#Learn2Earn
DigitalSkills + Salesmanship = Techpreneurship
But until we have #StreetsU students putting in work across the nation, we remain flexible in our approach to reaching our goal. This means we will also work with adults and other nonprofit organizations to grow our directory.
If you are outgoing, would like to earn a few extra dollars as an independent representative; or you manage a Black-Founded Nonprofit that is looking for additional revenue for your organization; we will compensate your efforts for the same $30 we would pay one of our students to recruit and sign up local small Black businesses in your city.

What city or state doesn’t matter, but that we create an easier way to locate our businesses and organizations do…!
We are not replacing other online Black business directory’s that already exist. We are not competing with other online Black business directory’s. Our directory is first and foremost a teaching and learning tool our organization use to capture the creativity of young people through tech skills and entrepreneurship. And we already do well with the other online business directory’s that we manage.
One city may have 20,000 Black Businesses; whereas another may have less than 100…
It Doesn’t Matter… We All Matter…
Unlike in the past; we now have over 2M Registered Black Businesses in the United States, and this bloc of businesses provides us with a collective strength we don’t utilize enough. We now travel from city to city, state to state on an ongoing basis… and still don’t know who we are, where we’re at, and what we sell as a business or do as nonprofit organizations.
Only We Can Change That…
Normally a listing in our directory is $150.00 annually; with $85.00 being the total compensation available for participating youth to earn. But times have changed and we can’t rely on young people now struggling to just find their place in life.
So if you like meeting people and you love Black people… YOU are exactly who we are looking for…
